SNP MPs will work hard for the people they represent. That means, for example, working to create and protect local jobs; pressing for improved safety at unmanned level crossings; protecting local post offices and leading campaigns to expose unfair local fuel prices.

@flammesombres Actually, I do not support any of the 3 main UK parties, I'm a liberal. The less government we have in our lives the better for everyone. One country does not need two parliaments, 3 assemblies and multiples of several other institutions and to maintain them is a reckless waste of taxpayers money.

If you want independance for Scotland, then by all means vote for it, but either way the government(/s) will need to massively reduce in size and expenditure.

@basch2020 Devolution was put forward in the late '90s before the SNP came to power, so you can forget about that part of your "argument", and if you want to talk about real waste of money look at what New Labour did and what the Tories are now doing. Then there's the issue of England fleecing Scotland out of 90% of our oil and gas revenues for decades and keeping it under wraps. Your argument is not that we are spending money, it's that we don't deserve to spend money, right?

@flammesombres re: benefiting eachother. How about the ones filmed in this video? Job Centre is a pan-UK institution and has access to more resources /can recommend a wider number of vacancies as a result. Ditto with Royal Mail, their postal coding system has dramatically simplified direct mailing services across the country :)

SNPs separatist agenda with legislation and devolution has only resulted in unnecessarily high government expenditure, a larger deficit and more debt...

How exactly do "we all benefit each other"? (Good luck finding some examples.) The video is silly, but I'd recommend looking into what the party is about and what it's achieved. Only a line like "the drug riddled unemployed that fill scotland's streets" could come from an ignorant English commentator; completely ignoring their own MASSIVE problems with crime, drugs, etc etc (in this regard, London *alone* makes Scotland look good).

This reminds me of the stuff I read regarding 14th century scottish rebellion, can we grow up please and realise its the 21st century, we all benefit each other. If you think Scotland is being "drained" of money now wait until it breaks away from the union, where is all that money going to come from, the drug riddled unemployed that fill scotland's streets?

Salmond wants the Monarchy as head of state, will let Donald Trump buy our land against the will of the people and we will still be ruled by the IMF, EU, UN and NATO. It seems that the rebirth of Scotland is at hand indeed! More than 250 years after the Scottish defeat at Culloden the Scots are likely to once more free themselves from English dominance; which will force the English ducks to abandon their global follies like invading China for the right to sell opium there or to get a good bloody nose at the hands of warlike Japan or Germany; as it has happened in the last great war; Shakespeare may now remind the English of their nasty Scottish neighbourhood:
