Agree with you man, Really dissapointing film. The Phoenix Storyline went absolutely nowhere, Most of the film she justs stands around doing nothing or following Magneto around, and when she finally decides to do something she just kills off all the brotherhood members ugh!!!. I also hate the ending for Rogue, it really sends a bad moral message to Kids/teenagers. Its basically saying "Hey kids, if your not happy with the way you are why not just go to a hospital and get surgery".

yeah, jean literally just stands there like a statue. doesn't do a freakin' thing. magneto's letting all these mutants get killed or depowered when she could literally blink and destroy the entire island. and i think you nailed it on the rogue story arc, it's also like a bit of peer pressure too. "hey, everybody else is doing it, why shouldn't I?"

Wolverine and Sabretooth has a long rivalry, but Wolverine had his memories wiped out. This movie had way too many pointless characters that did almost nothing and it contradicts a lot of the aspects in the comic books. It's simply a poor adaptation, plus even the plot was incoherent. Dud your probably one of those critics that say to leave your brain out of it when watching summer flicks like this, when you didn't have one from birth.

why do people have to complain about movies so much its just a movie pljus marvel switches up stuff in the comics alot so why should u care there are things in real life you should care about instead of a movie i really enjoyed and loved this movie better than the 1st 2 but i liked those aswell this one had lots of action and good effects it was the xmen film i wanted to see xmen and the brtoherhood beating the crap out of each other i like this movie go ahead spam me i dont care

thats not even a big deal i mean come on in the 1st fucking movie they made wolverine and sabertooth not know each other like WTF!!!!!! thats one of the best rivalries in the x-men

so dont complain about little thigs just cause its the 3rd movie and little assholes like you always have to find something wrong with them even when theres worst mistakes in the older ones that you so highly look upon

@RaginCanadianCritic wow bro calm down. this movie was great and you are just overacting way to much. this was a hell lot better than the other two. it had superior actors, better action, more character and plot developement. now let me talk about your review. first off magneto did have an army of mutants you idiot. idk what angry mobs you been seeing and whats your problem with having two good plot in a movie. then you don't like wolverine showing character developement in his character gtfo.

I used to like this movie when I first saw it, but when I rewatched it a few months ago, boy was it a let down. While I do praise the special effects, action scenes, and the performances of the returning actors, I agree that the phoenix saga was rushed, the mutant cure subplot was not interesting, the John Powell score isn't as memorable, the ending had a lame message, and most of the newcomers, save for Kelsey Grammer were bland and lack character development.  Stick with the first two.
