The Greenline is synthetic material; hard rubber is as pure and natural as any wood. The Greenline material is harder and heavier (and more brittle) than hard rubber, and is therefore, not as responsive, resonant or warm in tone. High tones on hard rubber are also rounder, fuller and more stable in dynamic changes IF the clarinet has the correct acoustical design.
