  • The Romans, The Viking, The Buddhist, the Hindu all have/had religions where they believe in more Gods, comparing Christianity with them is not right friend...

  • yes but look, you just mentioned many Gods....according to christianity, there is God the father, God the son, and God the holy spirit.....God+God+God=3 Gods........they have disroted the basic monotheistic beliefs that Abraham brought

  • right here put the ref# if you don't then you must be lying.

i don't even read the personal e-mails from this site.

so if you have proof put the ref# here.

all you have done is make excuses, if you don't have a ref# don't bother to answer back its a waist of time.

  • I did give you a name and number for the manuscript I am talking about. I'm glad you know how to read.

I'm done with you. it's clear that you have no intention of learning.

  • whatever im not reading any private emails

all you have to do is give a reference number, but all you have done is sent me special interest conjecture websites.

all it takes to prove your arguement is a reference #

if you don't have one then im sure you are simply making stuff up.

papyrus 88 was written in the 4th century C.E. it is lingustically dated to about 70c.e.

earliest dates for gospels text for year written

    mark350c.e.

    matthew150c.e.

    luke175c.e.

    john125c.e.

  • I sent you the website in a message because I can't post it for some reason.

However, don't accuse me of haveing no proof when you don't have any yourself. We call that a double standard.

I owned you bad when it comes to the Mark fragment you mentioned. I noticed you couldn't respond to that.

You are in way over your head if you want to talk Biblical Scholarship with me.

  • whatever you are full of BS

all you need to do is put the archeological ref. # and the catalog you found it in. about a line of text.

no evidence to support anything you've said out side of taking your word for it.

    BS

  • That fragment you are talking about is also not the original. Which means its a copy of a manuscript from years earlier. Which, like most scholars agree, would put Mark at about 50 - 55 AD.

The only possible original would be the manuscript I am talking about, but it may just be a very early copy, and it dates to 66 - 68 AD.

I told you I would message you with information about what I am talking about if you are interested. 500 characters is not long enough to discuss it.

  • earliest fragment of any of the 4 gospels is papyrus 88, which is a fragment of mark and at the earliest could be from 63c.e. but that isn't the achedemic veiw it by an large considered to be from the late 70'sc.e.

you give no evidence your a liar.

  • Then you lied. If you checked thing weekly, you would know what I am talking about.

Where and how do you ckeck things exactly? Can you read ancient Greek and Hebrew? What methods do you use for dating manuscripts?

These are things that a scholar has to know and do. I doubt you do any of them.

  • bs

i check on things weekly in regards to biblical archeology etc.. no mention of anything.

    so please go else where.

  • Well, it's my job to keep up on this stuff, seeing as I am a scholar of the Bible.

I can message you with more details if you are interested.
