Gilbert and Sullivan's I am the Pirate King, from the Pirates of Penzance, being sung by 4 Talking Thru Boris skulls, controlled by a Light-o-rama DC controller. One audio channel feeds all skulls. LOR controller turns on and off individual skulls to the music. Created using LOR software version 2. 84 additional channels of lights are being controlled by LOR 1602W controllers sync'd to this show. Unfortunately, because it was day time when this was shot, you can't see them.

  • Boris doesn't use servos. It's a self contained unit, almost ready to go. Feed it an audio signal, turn it on, and it sings. If you google "Harry Goodwin" Boris you'll find the schematic to convert it to run 12v DC instead of batteries. Connect the Boris to the LOR DC controller, and the controller to 12v, and you're in business...
