It sounds so genial, yet also tells you to prepare for a fight in the near future. |D

Kung Fu (martial arts and secret agent series) was an example of a basic generic philosophy, in different forms. part was expressed similar to Tao law by the master Po: "escape before injuring, injure before maiming, maim before killing." fair in the extreme, even to agressors. Kane was also a programmed defense unit. after 1 error, vengeance for his mentor, he escaped Imperial China Total Happy Family Government, who would send an assasin around the planet to murder Kwai Chang. excellent show.

Thank you for posting this - I've been waiting to hear it again for a long time. Lalo Schifrin was a genius.

Superb opening for the film. The TV series was great but the film's opening credits and tune were brilliant. I'e had this tune stuck in my head on and off for about 25 years : )
Excuse the ignorance, but who composed this music - its' awesome.

Lalo Schifrin composed the theme. It is the same man who did the Mission Impossible theme.

It is too bad that they were not able to develop a new series out of this movie. The story line had a lot of potential.

My understanding was that this movie was actually a push to revive the series again. However, in the middle of production Carradine (again) would not commit to a contract. So the movie became a one-shot deal and a lot of resources that were planned for it got moved elsewhere.
Just as well. If I remember correctly, it was pretty much a rating bust.

Lalo Schifrin is, thankfully, still with us at this time.

Oops. I would have sworn I heard that he died recently. News of his death was obviously greatly exaggerated. Thanks for the tip. I will correct the write up.
