The blue one sounds like a 2 cycle, it doesn't stand a chance noise wise.

Love my Champion 2000 inverter. Home fridge will draw from 300 to 650 or so, depending on the size. Should be absolutely no problem for the 2000. Ought to be able to run the chest freezer, main fridge, and several 75 watt light bulbs.

Thats just like my new generator. Mine is the CPE one. The red one. Love the quietness of them, And that eco switch and the idea that its the inverter type. I paid $530 for mines at Costco today. Bought it for the same type of thing you use yours for. BUT also just in case of black outs. I was wandering, do you think that these will run a standard house refridgerator, the "energy star" kinds, if I had to?? Im yet to try it.
Really like that little champion inverter. Whats the decibel rating on that little unit?
