High Voltage Power Line Exp ( free energy & wireless electricity ? )

Experimenters Corner by: Lorrie Matchett.....Did you hear of the farmer that powered his house from under high voltage power lines for free, well it just might be true....In this experiment you will need a vehicle ( a minivan in my case ) to act as receiving antenna that is insulated from the ground...( Important note; make sure you turned your vehicle off when performing this experiment and make sure you have no gas leaks....equals no chance of an accident ) ...The next thing that you will need to complete this experiment is one led light bulb (110-volt a/c ), a multimeter and a grounding rod,.... The black wire that you see coming from my van is connected to one side of the led light bulb....The other end of this led light is the red wire which is connected to a grounding rod and when pushed into the ground it completes the circuit, causing the current to flow....The voltage on my multimeter reads over 700-volt a/c with no load and drops to about 54-volt a/c with the led light bulb in circuit....You really got to be careful when performing this experiment because you can get a nasty shock,,,,Always make sure you are insulated from the ground... Wearing shoes is a must and never do it in the rain because water and electricity can kill.....Please read my disclaimer located on my home channel`s page before performing this experiment....If you decide to do this experiment it is at your own risk....I would suggest you not to because it can be dangerous.....

You can do this without anything but a florescent tube light in your hand. I see these lines more and more in fenced in area's because I know the power company knows people can steal the power coming in.

@egn83b Holding a florescent tube in your hand will not work unless one side is grounded and even then it will only glow....To generate any usable voltage / current, this is the way to go....

Just a few questions -

Does it only work directly under the power cables? or will it work in the vicinity?

Does the length of the antenna have a bearing on the readings?

Can the antenna be attached to something other than a motor vehicle? - maybe a nail in a tree?

@IndianaBuddy This works under all power lines, even the ones on the poles that go down your street, but the voltage / current will be a lot less due to lower line voltages....The van is the antenna, not the wire going to it....The higher the metal content the higher the current output....To maximize the output the vehicle ( antenna ) must cut across ( not parallel ) to the high voltage power lines....

The "Farmer's" name is Lee Montgomery and he lives here in SW Ontario. Back in the 60's and 70's stray ground currents from Ontario Hydro were responsible for injuring his dairy cows and caused health issues for him and his now departed wife. He was able to light a incandescent bulb wired to a ground stake and a ground conducting line from a pole. Up until just a few years ago HydroOne had insufficient return capacity and used the ground itself for return currents. Google "Electrical Pollution"

Electricity through power lines induces a magnetic field, they may own the rights to the electricity within their own wires, but they don't own the magnetic field that the electricity generates. To stake claim on owning magnetic field from electrical current is like staking claim on the oxygen that the tree that you own produces. It's trivial and not to mention childish. The universe is a giant sea of energy, why must our ego try so desperately to control who gets it?

@antonioscheel There are a few ignorant comments on this page! the EMF from the power lines is really high, that is why they have a buffer zone where construction has to be setback a particular distance in order for it to be safe enough not for the people living around the HPTL but safe enough that the Utility company is NOT liable for adverse health effects from EMF! It all comes down to Liability

lol if you could do alot of circcles of wires and after specific lenght of wire connect them parallel... u get a good free electricity with enough amps...

I rember watching a show on national geograph were people ware sueing the houseing company that built homes near hivoltage power liens they could do anything with out getting shocked they showed video of sparks comming off gutters to the ground and anything that that was mettal was sparking and if they touched the door nob they get shocked, get watter get shocked and always had trouble with electronic in less than a month the intire subdivision was a gost town....
