top Croatian side Hadjuk Split visited arch-rivals Lokomotiva at the weekend there was a lot at stake: the two sides are locked in a nail-biting four-way tussle for the Europa League spots, and three points at this stage of the season could be crucial.

So you would have thought that Hadjuk Split midfielder Goran Rubil would have been thrilled to open the scoring after just eight minutes with a stunning long-range strike that gave the goalkeeper no chance.
Unfortunately for Rubil, his thundering strike was scored at the wrong end as a moment of madness saw him misjudge a clearance so badly that he ended up producing the sort of bottom corner rocket that Lionel Messi would have been proud of.
