Very nice, lots of soul in it.

Thanks Jim, glad you enjoyed it.
Ah Willie Hunter, now there was a master of the Slow Air.
Broughshane Fiddle maker, the late Sam Stevenson, always swore that nobody could play a slow air like Willie.
Unfortunately, I just don't think it's possible to get the same poignancy with a Concertina, as some can with a Fiddle.
Sadly, the only tears anyone is likely to shed when I play, will be because of my vast ineptitude! :-(
Cheers

Wow. Thanks so much for playing the baritone. I got a Jack not too long ago because I loved the sound and now you give me something to shoot for.

Hey, your welcome.
By the way, my Baritone weighs 2041g!
I guess your Jack comes in at a 'friendlier weight! ;-)
Good Luck to you.
I wish you many happy hours playing.
Cheers

Hi Dick, the baritone sounds wonderful, so rich. Are you missing the Jeffries yet?
Best wishes

Hi Martyn,
Yes indeed, it was a bit of a wrench, parting with it, but I had a few tunes in Hughes, Dublin, with its new owner, so I know it has gone to a good home ... & a much better player too, so I'm happy about that.
Cheers

Such a difference in tone compared with an instrument of higher pitch. Sounds good!

Aye Peter, I guess there's a time & a place for all sizes of Concertina.
Somehow, sitting in front of a real fire of a Winters evening, playing the Baritone just feels so right!
On the other hand of course, maybe it's just my age! :-)
Cheers
