No. Fingers crossed it will not happen. Make sure you keep up to date with new software which Apple have been releasing for the iMac to fix this issue with some machines.

@benry200 nope, this one is an all-in-one with the actual computing hardware built into the back of it. apple is using mostly mobile hardware (ex: for laptops) in these iMacs, except the hdd, cpu, and mobo, to decrease power consumption and heat excess. the only macs that need a "tower" r the Mac Pro and the Mac Mini.

@AnnoPirat Macs r desgined to run on less hardware specs than many pcs so 512mb is perfect for it. for most pcs, 512mb isn't rlly that much to brag about, but 512mbs base on all imacs is very good compared to the 256mb previous generations. plus with the on chip intel hd 3000 gfx, it should b fine for most anything. the hardware specs on the base 27" r good enough to black black ops on high settings and mw3 (possible requirements) on high also.
