Cane Improvisation

Just as the clever title would suggest, this is a cane improvisation, performed by moi (Tanna) at the Dancing Goat Cafe in New Jersey back in 2007 as part of a monthly showcase hosted by the wonderful dancer/producer Morgiana Celeste.
Don't look for choreography or even a rough design because there was none. And don't ask me the name of the music, because unfortunately I have not got a clue at this point. The costume however was purchased from Bellydance with K, and augmented with green stones by yours truly. (The costume details are always razor sharp! LOL!) I remember that it was a rather warm day, and the fabric of the costume did not really breathe, so by the end of the number it was like being encased in latex. Still, it was a lot of fun!
However, I'm not too pleased with how warped and squashed this video looks (and how squat it makes ME look-LOL!) I have probably messed something up. It might be coming down soon.
