I've just posted a new video from the upcoming film "Earhart's Electra."

this clip is Interviews with three eyewitnesses, who were on Saipan in July of 1944 when Amelia Earhart's airplane was found and destroyed by the US Military. Thomas E Devine, Robert Wallack (who found her briefcase) and Julious Nabers, who decoded the messages for Colonel Wallace that stated they had found her plane, and that they were going to destroy it. He also guarded the plane for 24 hours. These interviews are part of my film "Earhart," the official website is www.earhartmovie.com, and I'm hoping to start filming the dramatic portions in the spring of 07. All three of these gentlemen have passed away, and my condolences to each of their families. They were generous to tell me their stories on camera, and only hoped that one day I could make my film about what really happened to Amelia. With their help from above, God willing, I shall.

  • For those of you who are curious about this video, I've continued to film interviews with veterans who saw her plane on Saipan. Recently I filmed two brothers in Colorado - WWII veterans, one stationed in Majuro, the other on Saipan. One brother heard from a Stevedore stationed on Majuro that he'd help transport the Electra from where it crashed, and the other brother saw the plane in a hangar guarded by American GI's. Documentary to follow

  • Interesting twist on the story that I've never heard before. My great grandfather was an Early Bird and met Miss Earhart on a few occasions. As a female, with our family's history in aviation, I was always fascinated by her as a child. These sorts of theories always start off sounding crazy... but then one has to ask WHY would these people all lie? What would they have to gain? What would be the point of it all? History has shown us that it's far more likely that our government has lied.

  • @mzlove1974

I've finally gotten around to interviewing some other veterans and see the info below the clip to see the new interviews, thanks. R

  • wow you interviewed these people? amazing :)

  • Exciting news! I was contacted by a viewer, I just interviewed two WWII vets; One stationed in Majuro, an islander claimed he helped offload AE's plane from a barge to a Jap ship after it was forced down and retrieved from Mili Atoll, the other vet stationed in Saipan, late 44 was shown AE's Electra in a hanger at Aslito airfield b4 it was destroyed. FOUR vets now I've interviewed saw her plane there, along with 200 islanders who saw her on Saipan as well! Gaining momentum for my doc! Thanks!!!

  • For those asking about my doc; it's in the works. About these clips; these men served in WWII, were stationed on Saipan. Her plane was found there in June of 1944, her briefcase a few days later. The plane was burned two weeks later; (7 years after she disappeared.) No info came out of Saipan til after the war; over 200 people said they saw her on Saipan over those 7 years. Why it's not public knowledge, or why people still search for her plane or remains on other isles is beyond me.

  • Most of American history is a compete lie or strech of a truth.Their is nothing in american histroy we can believe. You search long and hard like I have you will find alot of are history is diluted,Sad but very true.

  • This whole cover up thing just don't add up. Nothing to gain from doing so. Even if it was...releasing the information now would serve to consequence to anyone. Sorry, but i dont' buy this up. I wish that the US government would fund the search and give her an american hero burial.

  • Finally! I knew the government lied!

  • Keep up the good work, by the way. Regardless of the outcome, constantly striving to learn more and reveal the truth can only be a good thing. Kudos.

  • thums up if u are watching this in 2011

  • @endlesssoul731 FDR (the president at the time) supposidly ordered her to vere off course to spy on the japanese, remember japan was at war with nationalist china and communist china since 1937, this would have been considered an act of war. how would the u.s. look if they started the war? granted the war was almost over by the time this story took place but would still look bad.

  • wonderful work Rick - when will the doc be ready?
