I remember Doctor Schlochmans powder of persuasion, Gems Spa and who woulda thunk it " PAY TV" and a couple years later watching Richard Lee and Neil Young get into a catfight about who would make a better looking Jesus for Neil's movie.

Luther Rix. Live and learn, in 1970 I went on tour as a roadie with Buzzy Linhart, the drummer was Luther Rix and I didn't make the conection for some reason what a shame. Great drummer with a great list of bands behind him. How long had he been with The Group Image? Here I had known Luther twice and didn't realize it, must have been those 60's that lead into the 70's that weren't much clearer really. Who know's, maybe some of you guy's might remember me.

As a kid growing up in the city I remember we used to go to this place called Palm Gardens all the time. The Group Image was like the house band. It was a wild place, some of my best memories came out of that place and from that band, the singer was beautiful. We were all young and having a blast. Anyone else remember that place?

@giantjunior69 when i went on google and google sheila darla i couldnt believe it was everywhere, not only that but under a new label, i have been searching and trying to talk to someone at fallout records and no reply., someone had to steal the masters to make them into cds, the whole thing is so sad as we were so great and had the scene in new york did the cover of time mag, the band broke up on the road because the treaser was on a flashback and gave someone else the check

@giantjunior69 to continue paul ws also scared insecure, he was so young, the older people who ran the corporation were theones that handled the money, we had none, all we had was the love of our nusic and eanchother, the shows once a week paid for whatever little we got. as i am working on an interview right now on the group image i am finding out more info shocked to see

Wildest, absolutely, but I don't think it's the best.

If anyone wants to see this band in action, check out the video posted of "Heyyyaa." These two songs are great but they don't really do the band justice. Here they just sound like another Jefferson Airplane influenced group. The video of "Heyyyaa" will turn your head inside out!

Where is that video? I searched around a little bit and couldn't find it. I'd like to check it out.
