Great playing! Brings a tear to my eye.

I knew concertinas were capable of beautiful slow airs but I've never heard a concertina used so well as you have in this video with this tune. Beautiful : )

Popularly mistaken as an "Irish" air this song "The mantle so green" / "I went walking one morning in june", originated in the 17th century English west country, and is still a popular English tavern ballad from Herefordshire through sommerset and down to Devon, but also sung in surrounding counties (Warwickshire, Staffordshire).
"Nancy", mentioned in the tenth verse of this delightfull song, was one of the most common names for English women in the 1600's!
Glad to have helped you out!
What brand concertina is yours?

It's a 30 button C/G Anglo (WA-1), made by Wim Wakker from the Netherlands. See concertinaconnection-dot-com

Nice playing. Concertina is one of the many instruments I would like to learn, was it very hard at all?
