One bloke shouldn't have to do all that lifting on his own matey. As a UK binman I salute you. Over here in the UK ALL we'd have emptied is the bin, all that other stuff would have been left.

I would love to do your job for just 1 day, just to see what it is like to be a garbage man... load a truck... I think 1 day is about all I would enjoy though. Maybe if I was a single person truck like you and drove and loaded by myself it would be better. I wouldn't want to be running on a 3 person truck with a damn driver who just drives... I could build up a healthy head of resentment for the driver.. wouldn't be bad if I did it all myself though (I don't think).

No actually this truck is 705, one of the older ones. It actually was retired about a month ago.Its sitting in the back of the lot waiting to be sent to a scrapyard. I was driving it in this video because 734 was undergoing repairs at the time.

I took home a gas powered weed eater that worked perfectly fine, all kinds of random little things as well. Unfortunately there isnt much room in the truck for storage so I'm limited most of the time. TTD is definately the coolest find.
