my mom is from trinidad and she always tells me that i should go with her to carnival, but i'm always too busy with school. maybe this year i'll go with her to trinidad, after all i haven't been there since i was 4-5, which was at about 14 years ago.

Great footage and congrats on having the only tamboo bamboo footage on YouTube. I didn't know they did this in Trinidad any more. What else can you tell us about this group or footage? The instruments have a higher tone than I thought they would, in contrast with the instruments sold by the Panyard of Akron, Ohio, which have a deeper bass tone.

Well, I happened to shoot this performance in the children's parade. My guess is that they are local group.
I like their african-origin polyrhythm.
