Mother 3: The Barrier Trio

This is me fighting the Barrier Trio from Tanehineri island. I know that there is several bosses before this one that comes after the Scary Womanizing Pig Mask, but due to some problems I will have to rerecord some of them and therefore I will post this one up for now. The Barrier Trio is incredibly though unless you have the PSI Shield Omega, their attacks does huge damage, and they can even launch the deadly PK Starstorm. There is a way to stop the from attacking constantly though, this trick involves either Kumatora or Duster lessening their defence, making them use Defence Up. This does not always work, but quite often it can save you in a pinch. Using PSI in this battle is not terribly recommended, each turn they switch their weakness to a certain PSI attack, and the only way to find out is to use Boneys normaly pretty worthless skill "Sniff". To note is that Barrier Trios song is very hard to combo with unprepared, and I did not manage very well making this battle pretty long.

you can acually know what weakness is without boney using sniff:

when they strike a pose it says one of the three of them called out and depending on who calls out will decide on there weakness:

barrier man: pk fire

barrier gal: pk freeze

barrier dude: pk thunder

It's more ethically justified than legal. It would be only legal if they made a backup of the ROM and patched it with their own equipment. Now I highly doubt Nintendo would go after anyone for doing that, but it's not legal.
