South Florida Green Jobs Collaborative/Broward County Minority Builders Coalition

CONGRATULATIONS to the Broward County Minority Builders Coalition for spearheading what is known as The South Florida Green Jobs Collaborative. BCMBC is proving teamwork, partnerships, common goals and collaborative efforts can result in successful programs to not only create jobs, but also put people to work in existing industries as well as emerging fields such as renewable energy.
Partnering with local businesses such as Siemens Industries, Advanced Renewable Energies, Reliance Housing Foundation and job training agencies such as Atlantic Technical Center and O.I.C. of Broward County, The South Florida Green Jobs Collaborative is a successful model of what is possible to enhance a community by way of specialized education and utilizing local talent to create a strong economic engine for the region.
