To celebrate the 41st annual JUNO Awards, taking place in Ottawa on 1 April 2012, The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) has partnered with the National Gallery of Canada to pair great Canadian art with great Canadian musicians. Eight JUNO Award winners and nominees visited the National Gallery in Ottawa and chose artworks with particular meaning to them.

Charles-André Comeau, known as "Chuck," is most recognized for being the drummer of the band Simple Plan. Originally from Montreal, Comeau's love of the arts translates not only into hit songs and music videos (he has co-written many of Simple Pl an's lyrics and video concepts and scripts) but also into an appreciation of modern and contemporary art.
