  • Either refute my argument with facts or dont bother to comment because it only shows that you are devoid of any rational arguments so you descend to name calling.

  • Only Hiudus were there in Afghanistan before muslim invasion. Now there is just 5000 Hindus left. Islamic invasions started in 642 AD. In AD 870 Hindu king of Kabul Rusal who was attacked by Yaqub Ibn Layth received a message from Yaqub for a meeting for truce. The trusting king Rusal met unprepared with the cheating muslim Yaqub. Hindu king Rusal was killed by terrorist Yaqub. Afghan Hindus were enslaved. . Afghan historian Khondamir says in Heart, Afghanistan, 1,500,000 were killed.

  • The Pakistani treatment of what is now Bangladesh, while I would hesitate to use the term Apartheid, was very poor. India simply intervened on the side of the rebels.

  • The creation of Bangladesh was a direct result of our own disastrous policies and actions directed at the Bangladeshi people which alienated them. Indeed, India encouraged the secession and provided a base for Mukti Bihni but it was no different than our own ventures in Kashmir and latter support for Khalistan in Punjab.

  • Ahmed Rashid is quite economical with truth. He forgets the Indian role in keeping Pakistan on the edge. He very conviniently forgot the 1971 war in which India invaded Pakistan actually vivisecting it. It is also quite obvious that Karzai is just a puppet, has no support in Afghanistan and therefore has to go running to US. I take Rashid's explainations with a lot of ,a lot of reservation. He thinks Americans can be fooled that easily.

  • kreisler is the best interviewer. period.

  • Now here's an intellectual worth watching for an hour.
