@Queenofdollzz I don't agree with you, since the horse obviously is sometimes nervous of all the crowding around the arena. Every horse can get nervous from that. And maybe that man doesn't really know the horse well, while he knows the technique of letting the horse do flying changes.
Just saying though, it could be different, and I don't know the man, neither the horse or it's original rider/trainer.

Search youtube for "Hinnemann, classical dressage" and watch him beat the crap out of a TB. Seems like the kind that intimidates the horse to get what he wants...

I think it's not funny- it's stupid that this man rides such an amazing horse without knowing it obviously and shows flying changes seconds after sitting on it, but can't control it...?!

i have to say, that guy did a great job teaching the horse who is boss, but did he really need to have been so heavy handed? and did the guy really have to be so (or appeared to be) rough on the horses mouth, I mean the bit is already pretty harsh on its own (look up the differences between western-another harsh bit- and dressage), but adding a heavy hand?

lol i dont care who he is, he had the horse confused for a bit...if he doesnt KNOW the horse, who is an individual being who might not be familiar with this guy...a horse isn't always a hop on, push go and he goes....

Do you even have any clue what you were watching?
Do you know anything about Dressage? Do you know what single changes are and how hard they are to get even from a horse that is trained for them?
Watch the video again... he is asking the horse to do a lead change EVERY STRIDE that is one of the hardest movements in dressage.

Also, this video isn't funny, its downright incredible. The horse is SELF COLLECTED, responsive, and has gorgeous movement. If you think this animal is at all confused you don't know anything. This is obviously a spirited horse that knows its stuff and it would take a pretty bad rider to confuse it. Most bad riders the horse would probably sigh at and think "you don't know what your doing." People do some research before you comment! Your showing your ignorance.
