  • Great video, thanks for sharing Çağlar. But I would like to correct two tiny things.

Actually Turkey is not the only country located both in Asia and Europe. Russia and Georgia have the same situation. The correct way of saying that could be "Istanbul is the only city in the world established on two continents." There is no other city on earth connecting two continents, but Istanbul.

Secondly; only two wonders of world were in Turkey, not all. Temple of Artemis and

    Mausoleum of Maussollos.

  • Thanks for your corrections. But, I will have some answers...

First of all, these wonders are still in Turkey. They are just not in the updated World Wonders list anymore.

And the reason why I've written Turkey instead of Istanbul, is to emphasize the country rather than cities. Furthermore, neither Russia nor Georgia constitutes a bridge between two continents, but Turkey does. That's why, if we say that she is the only one, it wouldn't be wrong...

    In my next videos,

  • canakkale is also both on Asia and Europe

  • @caglarutku I got your point. That's why the foreigners know Istanbul more than Turkey. When I say that I'm from Turkey, it can make no sense but if I say Istanbul instead, they understand it immediately.

I absolutely can figure out your intentions because I'm also a Turkish guy, but non-Turks should be introduced to our country with 100% correct information. They may misinterpret the things we just "know" by heart.

So, keep up the good work! Thx.

  • Just loved this video.

Was in Istanbul in July. What an amazing city and people.

    You guys deserve the best.

Any turkish friends out there? Send me a private message.

    Selam.
