Global Demonstrations for Tibetan Freedom and Human Rights In Tibet and China
Chinese Consulate, New York City

A hundred million people in China practice Falun Gong, a meditative spiritual practice similar to Tai Chi. At the same time, the Chinese Government began a crackdown against Falun Gong practitioners in 1999 that continues today. Hundreds of thousands of Chinese citizens are being arrested, tortured, sentenced to hard labor/concentration camps, and killed—all for taking part in a peaceful and compassionate meditative art. Persecution has spread to the US where hate crimes sponsored by the Chinese government are threatening the safety and liberty of Chinese-Americans who wish to practice their religion and spirituality in a free two-party country. What is wrong with China? China continues to torture Tibetan monks and nuns inside Tibet, and its own people inside mainland China. If China wants to be respected and valued by other countries moving into the future, the Chinese government must improve and amend its human rights record. Stop the use of torture to intimidate and oppress Tibetans and Chinese. One world-one dream-human rights for all.

The following information is provided from the Falun Dafa Information Center website:

  • I'm honored to be the first to comment on this video, My first experience with Falun Gong was at a public library in a small town, where I was given rudimentary instruction along with a handful of others. This was about 5 years ago but I can still vividly recall how much better I felt both physically and mentally afterwards from just those 15 minutes and imagining what it would be like to get the whole program! What the CCP is doing is an atrocity in every sense of the word! I am with you.
