What does the killer bug represent? Is it a caddis larvae? Thanks B.

Hi flyfishnsparky,

Mr Sawyer tied this fly to represent a Freshwater shrimp ot Scud. He found that the most effeftive bug was not tied with ordinary copper wire but the wine coloured wire. When the bug was fished and got wet it changed colour completely and the wine coloured wire added to this. It can also he used to represent other bugs such as maggots.

I think it may just be jelousy David, leave the young man alone, he is trying to teach people how to tie flies and Davie McPhail does'nt have a problem with his video's as he has comented on quite a few of david's video's, now i sujest you go and annoy someone else and get a life, and the shirt is good as it makes the fly stand out more......lovely tie again David, you are going somewhere in life if you keep up the high standerds. ignore the bad comments
