Still As Beautiful: Chapter 61, Part 1 [Read Description!]

This is my favorite chapter. Ever. I know I've said that I loved a certain chapter and whatnot, before. But this chapter, really is my favorite. I might post part two today for that reason :]

When a relationship starts, its young, its fresh, and it seems all too perfect. You spend every moment of your day with that person or talking to them on the phone in hopes of turning your days into nights where once again, theyd be by your side. For Nick and Miley, that part of them had vanished, back when they had broken up for the first time. In a way, it was a blessing in disguise. The honeymoon stage of your relationship makes you feel invincible, but the true happiness for them wasnt in the beginning stages of their love at all.
After arriving home, Nick and Miley had casually walked upstairs and began to get ready for bed. Miley turned on the light in her room and walked in, knowing all too well that Nick was right behind her, already eyeing her bed with tired eyes. Immediately, Nick walked to Mileys dresser to place his wallet, keys and phone on the cold wood. Then he dropped his blazer on the loveseat underneath the window, not really watching as the satin liner caused the article to slip off the cushion and onto the floor. So idly, his fingers played with the soft material of his tie to loosen the restraint out from underneath his collar. His actions were quick and deliberate, all the while, his eyes remaining focused on the bed before him that Miley had already begun to lie in.
"Sleep in your clothes, youre leaving soon anyway"
Nick, who was now just wearing his jeans, socks, and his white v-neck crawled toward Miley, pecking her cheek as he got underneath the comforter and pulled her in. With his arm now wrapped securely around her midsection, he whispered in her ear. "Oh am I? What makes you so sure?" Nick laughed lightly, feeling as Miley took his hand and placed it on her heart. This was their favorite sleeping position and theyd be forever grateful for the feelings it seemed to bring. "Your heart is racing" Nick smiled, looking down at a smiling Miley.
She didnt need to respond, he already knew. All of the weight that Miley had been carrying on her shoulders since she first descended the stairs into the foyer to meet her prince charming, had disappeared as she settled back into Nick and allowed for the night sky to sweep over her eyes and drown her in her own dreams.
Nick soon joined her, floating in between sleep and awake as he silently reminded himself that he wasnt even supposed to be in this house right now. No, Nick was supposed to be home by now, sleeping in his own bed away from Miley. He couldnt take it anymore, so he sat up, the room caused his eyes to blink, enveloping them in complete darkness. What had seemed to be only a few minutes, was actually two hours, and Miley was not where he had left her; sleeping soundly by his side.
Nick heard nothing from the bathroom, the office, or even the balcony. The entire house seemed to be enjoying the same warmth and comfort he had shared with Miley in their bed. Nearing the stairs, he wiped the sleep out of his eyes and slowly began to walk down them. The first floor was following in suit, all of the lights turned off except for one. Nick walked toward it, immediately recognizing it as the bathroom right off the expansive laundry room.
"Mi-?" He stopped, choking on his own words as he stepped into the light.
