@Superstarnl A city with 9 million residents can´t be compared with any resort, in what refers to pollution or anything else. Brazil has an extremely long shore, full of resorts, clear-blue-water beaches, some less than one hour away from Rio, but Rio is unique for its 24 h liveliness, mountains, jungle, business and beaches at one single place. One can hang-glide or surf and then go to work. Greetings from Rio.

@Ynashimitsurunescape Is beautiful I agree ( noting to do with copa cabana ) but still Can't be compared with Varadero or Can Cun, Varadero has more than 17 km of white fine sand and sea ( so white that hurts ur eyes , is not a joke ) and the most beautiful blue water you have ever seen. I ve been in many beaches but nothing beats the beauty of Varadero ( Can Cun is more or less the same , but is very urban ) My next destination will be Bora Bora, that's also much better than Copa Cabana.
