This is a great video, and the information you have provided here is very interesting.
It would be fascinating to know how and why the color changing phases evolved. As you mentioned, the buff color of babies is an effective camouflage, but the females turning black at one year of age until they mature and become buff again is mysterious.
I would really like to see zoos focus more on teaching people about all the processes of evolution!

Can anyone please let me know why some of them are blackish while others are white ?

Females have buff or cream-colored fur, with a tiny patch of black on top of their head. Males are all black except for white patches on their cheeks. When baby gibbons are born, their fur is the same buff color as their moms (an effective form of camouflage), but they turn all black by one year of age. Then, as they become young adults, female infants turn back to the buff color, while males remain black.
