@123WelshDan321 You might right about that. Since the riots in London last Thursday this vision of the future seems even more plusable. All this talk about now of using water canon or banning demo's is the slippy slope towards such a police state.

@dukeofscouse Your might right the officer class uniforms in the series did look like a cross between Italian backshirt fasists and what bus conductor's wore in the 70s. I'd imagine showing this in Northern Ireland wouldn't of gone down when thearmy was ruling the provence a bit like this drama.

the uniforms, the ones worn by the officer class in the series look like a cross between an 1930s Italian blackshirt and a UK bus conductor, circa 1970. Love this series. It's a pity they didn't do a second season. FYI: this was also not shown in Northern Ireland, hmm, wonder why? ha ha ha.
