Are you running a hondata or anything? I have a 01 gsr, same exhaust, need to get my header... and I have a AEM V2 intake, but probably going to change to the PW JDM one or a AEM short ram when I switch the mani's. Also curious as to if this was on 91 octane?

these are really good numbers considering it has stock head either than just oem cams. its so fucking hard making power on these motors

@BlueRice I had the butterflies disabled on the stock one also, I liked it better myself because it felt better on top end and the same on low end to me. My car is soon to be chipped in maybe a week, the guy your talking to could get a lot of info about this or parts from phearable(dot)net.

@bkellum89 i never said you claim type r ecu gain performance lol. i was just stating it because most people thought they actually get more power just swapping the ecu alone, skunk2 is after market manifold and it has single stage vtec. its a whole new setup. but disabling the butterflies to act like one is totally wrong. beside skunk2 mani is port and polish i think you will get better air flow than uneven gsr mani.

@BlueRice I never said that a Type-R ecu would help performance, the ITR cam profiles and etc. are too drastic of a change to just throw on a GSR. I also know V-tec engages at 4500rpms regardless of butterflies or not, but with no butterflies like my single stage Skunk2 manifold you actually feel it at 4500rpms. Your last statement is true in some circumstances, mainly setups where all the major parts are installed at once.
