@ceiderduck I disagree. These films are not meant to go against each other in any way. It all depends on preference, I suppose. Personally, I adore the second and third films of the Qatsi Trilogy just as much as the first. I love how Godfrey Reggio and his crew present all of this to people. These films are some of the most important films of all-time IMHO. Cheers.

Philip Glass? Excellent. This film? Dreadful...for those who enjoyed koyaanisqatsi, I recommend Ron Fricke's Baraka or Chronos. The second and third films of the qatsi trilogy are terrible. Apart from their soundtrack. The third film is god-awful.

3:04 Matrix!

@theavantridiculous MOGDrummer is correct. The film seems to contain a separate take of the song. Since the film is considered a collaboration between Glass and Reggio, both edit to each other. The soundtrack was meant to stand on its own for the music release, but changes were made to some tracks to fit the film. Notice the difference between the film version (5:13 on your clip) and 3:30 on the soundtrack.

Glass' music always makes me think. I love a good thinking piece, and P of N does that. So does 1000 Airplanes On the Roof.

@MOGDrummer U r right... in some points they're different, expecially form minute 5

Sort of like the 9 years it took Beethoven to complete his 5TH Symphony.

Is it different? How? I've got the soundtrack and I like to pick up on those things.
