there are no snowshoe in nevada or california....that would be a jackrabbit. a snowshoe is like a small cat, jackrabbits if you hold their legs at eye level their ears have been known to touch the ground

I had no idea these existed. I was driving from Reno, Nevada to Palm Springs, Caliornia late at night. I was passing through the town of Lee Vining, when I saw the biggest white bunny i've ever seen!! My headlights shined on what I thought was maybe a white dog, sitting on the side of the road. As I got closer, i noticed it was a bunny. This thing was as big as my side window in my jeep!!
