25 cents shovel mount/tie-down mod for Nissan Xterra

In this video I will show you an alternative way to strap down the shovel to the normally use roof bar with quick fist.
The reason I chose this over the roof area because you would worry about theft.

Actually that works in any self. I waited to get a free RUT from 4wheelparts. I just keep my RUT in the door pocket in my truck.

@05front RUT is the collapsible Military Style shovel right? I was going to buy one of those but aren't those handle kinda short for digging?

I watched a few videos on youtube first before buying and it looks short on the videos, however definitely convenience.

@2k11pro4x Yes sir they are. Yes they are small and I keep it because their so handy. Well when you have to dig you have to dig. They do get the job done and i also have used them as an axe, to split wood for a camp fire. So yes Very Military Style indeed. Mind happens to be a Smittybilt.
