this is the tilt compendated compass project. It shows the tilt compensation during roll of the compass up to 60°. As you see, it compensates quite well. You see the uncompensated heading below the compensated heading, and in the bottom line roll and pitch angles.

Hi,
I´m working on an autopilot for my 5,3 meters long motorboat. I bought an Aduino (duemillanove), a Honeywell HMC 5843 and a 12V-Motor.
Now I´m at the point that I need a working code for tilt compensation.
Grandpa Google gave me some interesting documents...but i cant find a readymade solution... hmmm..... I´m not lazy and and would like to understand the mathematical....
