I used to love this advert as a kid, I didn't see anything wrong with it. Of course now I can see, but at the time, it seemed ok! Just like I used to make fun of that Ginger kid at school. I used to think it was ok, but now I can see it wasn't.

It's implied to be a cotton picking slave, with his skin massively overdarkened to emphasise it - it's not nice right? I don't think its oversensitive to think that.

I think you can still buy it but they changed the black boy on the package to a white boy. Thats stupid i know people may think the ad is racist what with the black crows. But since when has it been racist to put a black boy on a package. Black people get offended when you include them on something and they also get offended when you dont include them on something. Or is this just the goverment guessing someones feelings? I remember when they banned a packet of only blackcurrent jelly babies.

i remember that too when the jelly baby thing happened there was an uproar because of it.pathetic to be honest its a fucking piece of jelly and nothing else no motives intended.stupid really
