This is part 3 of 3 videos. I shot the following video at Brad Delp's last performance with his band Boston. I live in Danvers Mass, where Brad grew up. I shot the following video at Brad Delp's last performance with his band Boston. I live in Danvers Mass, where Brad grew up. My neighbors went to school with him. Brad had one of the greatest voices in rock and roll. I had the chance to meet him several times when he played with Beatlejuice. Also, I had the good fortune to catch Boston live several times over the years. Like many, I identified with Boston, and was deeply saddened by the news of Brad's passing.
A little piece of all of us died when Brad went away. He was one of the nicest guys in rock and roll. He had no ego, and he gave of himself until it hurt. I am glad that I have this opportunity to share this piece of his last performance with Boston. Brad, thank you for what you have contributed to our lives. I am sure that I will see you smiling and playing on the other side. TJ Welch

  • That kicked ass, though I hate having a song end before it should! XD

  • I tried, but security kept making me put the camera away. I would listen to them, wait until they were gone, then pull it out again. It is a shame that the band didn't do a video of this show. I was glad to have been there, but also sad that it will never happen again.

  • Love you, Brad!

  • Nice touch TJ, and all true...Brad was one of kind as band "BOSTON" was...

  • Where's Tom?

  • Doug Flutie was awesome! who can win the HIESMAN at 5' 9" tall and break an all time passing yards in college and have time for drums. All around talent.

    My hero

  • Flutie was ok.

  • It is a live show but your right that drummer is really dragging. If anything it should have sped up a bit for some live energy.

  • The drummer's dragging! Listen how slow the song is between the solo and afterwards!

  • his voice still sounded strong! Why did he have to commit suicide?? :'(

  • his beautiful voice continued even into his older age. he was such a beautiful person!
