That doesn't happen to me. After the Blue Shell, someone pushes me while I can't move and knocks me off the edge. After that, someone throws a Lightning just after I am no longer immune to it due to the fall. One of the players behind me avoids the Lightning with a Star and then makes me fall again by hitting me.
