Sho Kosugi is a legitimate Ninjitsu master and sensei amongst his other accomplishments. Like Bruce Lee, he is a fighter and grew to understand that he did not need to perform in competitions to prove his worth. Could Sho have fought Chuck and won? Yeah, probably. The point is that he did not have to in order to be considered one of the greatest martial artists of all time.

@ChudFapper Completely incorrect. Sho Kosugi had competed in North America, Europe and Japan all in the 60s and 70s. He had won over 300 trophies during his competitive years.

Aside from Iga Ryu Ninjitsu practitioner, Sho Kosugi is a black belt in 8 different martial arts including Judo, Aido, Shindo Ryu Karater, Ju Jitsu, Kendo and so on.

He can easily kill Vitali if he wanted to. Not even a small doubt.

If you actually look the two up, you'll see Vitali is an actual karate champion, and obviously the better fighter of the two.

Kosugi doesn't seem to have competed at all, so despite having his own school, he's not the better fighter. You can talk all you want about technique and theory, but that's irrelevant when you compare it to actual fighting experience.

The scene is choreographed but I can tell how good someone is by their balance, movement, and instinct. Both Look good.

Looking at all of Sho's movies , he demonstrates excellent balance, technique, and defensive blocks that are some of the best I've ever seen on the big screen.

@phantom5573: All respect to both men, but I don't really think a choreographed scene is the best estimation of either of their technique. I mean, of course Sho is going to look better, he was the main character!

Sho Kosugi was a legend.

Vitale was a very accomplished fighter and Sho looks like he as better skill, balance and technique. Revenge of the Ninja was one of the best martial art movies ever.
