@GordonsGirl Ouch, don`t you think the statement "She should not be allowed on the Met or any stage" is a bit non-sensical? How did she manage to get where she is if this was true? Were all the highly talented conductors she sang under and the management of major opera houses fooled into thinking she has what it takes when according to you she doesn`t belong on the stage? Consider how fierce the competition is to star in a Met production and she beat the rest, how did she pull that off?

¿De dónde han sacado a esta soprano? es verdaderamente impresentable.Pero bueno, como hoy en dia vale todo, pues otra mediocre más a destrozar el repertorio.

Hate the set, Poplavskaya's diction and her costume. Love Jonas Kaufmann's voice as well as Rene Pape's.

Poplavskya is a fine actress and looks lovely, but the voice is ugly and devoid of lyricism. She should never be allowed on the Met stage - or an opera stage, for that matter - until she actually learns how to sing. This is opera, after all, not the National Theatre.

What's with the Pollyanna costume? She's too shrill for my taste and could work on her French.

Whoa there, way too many uploads at once
he's too overbearing, her voice is weird and her dress is very ugly.

Poplavskaya's French is unintelligble, but she certainly gets into acting the role.
