Nice to see your contribution to this ednatuck, it would be nice to hear more from you on this subject! As I said above, I remember your set at the Wickham Goes Pop shows as if it were yesterday, and how it was the turning point in my future career as a muso.

    Keep rockin'!

    :)

    :)

  • What a great find!

I recall the old Scout hut on Masons Hill, assuming you're referring to this one of course.

All the local groups rehearsed there, and I'm sure many a tune was bashed out by us all on the old harmonium in the corner!

I clearly remember David in the Konrads as we (The Aces) played with them at the two Wickham Goes Pop concerts in 1963, and it was watching them perform after our own humble set that confirmed my future, of which remains to this day, as a working musician.

    :)

  • Since I last commented on here, I have become much more familiar with David Bowie's music from the early and mid 60's.

  • I'm not as familiar with David Bowie's music from the early and mid 60's as I am with his later music.

  • Yes he was on earlier recordings...in fact I still have the very first recording that Bowie recorded, which I want to inclued with the release of my Autobiography in 2012!!
