The sweetest and the wettest dog I know. Staffordshire bull terriers are so misunderstood, and are they are increasingly on the rise in rescue homes and shelters. Infact, they are now the top breed of dog found in rescue homes across the UK. why? this breed of dog is often associated with crime, and fighting. This is NOT the dogs fault, but infact their 'owners'.
Many of the public believe in this image of a vicious dog and the stigma of the staffy still continues. myself, on first hand experience can say that I have never met such a lovely breed of dog, and I don't think I could never not have one in my life.

Gerrard is a 8/9 year old staffy, who was rescued, and found as a stray. his teeth were found burred, which could indicate he was a fighting dog or bait dog. I'm sure it was Gods way of him running away and finding himself in a loving home, where he is spoilt rotten. he would never hurt anyone, or even another dog and all he wants from people is love and care.

    THIS!

    That is so true!

I have an American Stafford too, she is so cute! Nothing wrong with Staffy's!

  • @Iknowbetterthanthat thanks so much for agreeing with me! I adore staffies to pieces and I will definitely be sharing my life with them again in the future. There are so many in rescues it's unbelievable, sometimes I wish I could help them all :( I would LOVE a AmStaff too! But in the UK they are the same as Pit Bulls and are destroyed if they end up in rescues :(

  • your panda makes noises a bit like a dog

  • @thewallachian

There are also thousands of old people randomly stabbed by teenagers every year. Would you say that that means ALL teenagers are capable of randomly stabbing a granny?

A tiny, mistreated minority does not condemn the entire breed.

  • I LOOOOOOOOOOVE the sound staffies make! But I would SHIT MY PANTS if my staffy did that in the dark, I'd be like "THE GRUUUUDGE!!!!!!!"

  • My staffy puppy was found wandering the streets. One of the cutest lil champs ever. Shes so cute we didnt really give her a name.. puppy coz she looks like one xD

  • youve got a beautiful dog there, i have one and unfortunatly the mother died today

  • ....gerrard! xD

  • A dog is a DOG - and nothing more! Remember that! Not a "nanny" nor "a baby"! Personifying them is very dangerous. There are over 28,000 people bitten by their faces by dogs every year in the UK! See the facts for yourself: ukandspain(dot)com/dangerous-dogs/

  • no bad dogs just bad owners, i have a staff =D he is my big baby he comes before everyone, if you think about it the only family member and best friend that will never let you down is your staff.

Wow! why can't everyone think like this?

i decided a while ago that the pets i get in the future will be rescued, but if i hadn't, what you said would have definitely make me want to.

you have a beautiful dog :)

  • This video just makes me want to go and give my staffs the biggest cuddle ever. Both mine are rescued strays. I would never want any other type of dog. Your dog is an absolute babe.
