i think that Fran and Balthier think of one another as family the only family eather of them have left they do love eachother but not a couple

Balthier and Fran <3 .... One of my favourite couples EVER. People who don't see what they have are INSANE. There is more than enough of love there. Their relationship is so beautiful, it moves me every time. :'D Just because they're not "in your face spouting their love for one another" doesn't mean they aren't in love/a couple. :) Fran and Balthier<3

I hated Reddas pink tights when I first saw him...but when he proved himself in combat and ended up being a Judge, I was a actually little emotional when I lost him...

I like Zidane and Garnet, too.
There were few struggles where Garnet had to overcome on her own that Zidane wasn't able to do besides being by her side (Or asks Eiko to babysit her in his stead), but she did come out stronger and went off to protect Zidane toward the end.

Balthier and Fran are probably one of my favorite FF romantic couples. Seriously, that segment alone was more realistic then anything Squall/Riona or Zidane/what's her face (haven't played FFIX in a while, lol) could pull off.
not that those were bad couples, it's just that Balthier and Fran make up one of the better ones.
