  • The Gold Standard most used by psychiatrists is this: severe Bipolar I typically responds to mood stabilizers. Borderlines do not. Unfortunately, Bipolar II can be variable. Moods are usually longer-lasting in Bipolar, and somewhat predictable (seasonal, for some). On one point you are incorrect: Borderline is believed to begin in early childhood - even earlier. Symptoms may not appear until adulthood. This is true of most Personality Disorders, which are corrected via therapy & CBT/DBT skills.

  • @gayforlife2020 nicely said.

  • bla, bla, bla on what he says and I grew up with mania and they don't cover those feelings right off but it is covered emotionally... borderlines are brainless and hate white men and don't care...

  • @MrSpemat "borderlines are brainless and hate white men and don't care..." umb sir, are you Borderline yourself?

  • @composer63 yeah, i also found that out when i read some writings about the two, i guess she's right, that it's quite better having stricken with a bipolar disorder than with BPD,

  • @MichaelAH500 I hear ya. Never was bipolar myself, but I can imagine how that would be a pain in the ass.
