Shutup, immigrant, and get back to your own country.

I was watching this while the new of riots in tottenham showed up on tv... This would be one awesome way or supressing a riot, just put 50 bagpipes behind the police.

I'm American and my heritage is Scottish, and I cannot describe how annoying it is that the Irish-Americans have been claiming our culture for years.
GO AND LEARN REAL IRISH CULTURE AND STOP COPYING SCOTLAND!!

@chadscotland you're correct. PW Joyce (Irish professor of history) wrote in his book 'On the Manners and Customs of the Ancient Irish' in 1873 about the existence of the Irish Kilt based on 1 picture from ancient manuscripts! This has now been shown to be flawed. So, effectively on the publication of this book the Irish academia of the time claimed ownership of the the kilt based on the age of the picture even though nobody in Ireland at this point had and cultural tie to it.

"The Emerald Society" and yet it's a Scots pipe band?
Fucking embarassing.

Who the heck CARES about whether the Emerald Society regalia/pipes are politically correct or NOT~~~give it up already. Here in America, we are the blending of cultures. Get off the clans, berets, plaids, blah blah blah; just enjoy the music, for cryin' out loud!! I'm proud of the Emerald Society.

The bagpipes were only introduced to Ireland because of the thousands of Scots who immigrated to Ireland back in thr 1700's.
The bagpipes, tartan and clan system all belong to Scotland. It's quite sad to see how stupid you American's have become.
I have Irish friends who mock us off for wearing 'skirts' and playing bagpipes. If you go to Ireland, you won't see bagpipes at all. If you go to Scotland, you'll see/hear them everywhere!

Gotta say there lads, it's kinda looking a bit plastic from where I'm sitting! Why do American 'Irish' pipe bands adopt British military traditions? I admit it's all very pretty, but it isn't very 'Irish', Scottish pipes (3 drones), Glenngarys, Brit Army rhythms etc. Ok, Irish song..like it, but you call yourself "proud Police Officers of Irish ancestry who carry on the traditions of those who came before us." ?? Going out for a Guinness tonight? (Anglo-Norman family-London drink (Porter).
