When we first heard that Liza Rios (Big Pun's wife) was living in a homeless shelter we were absolutely shocked.

Big Pun (aka Christopher Rios) burst onto the rap scene in 1995 and never looked back. His debut album Capital Punishment dropped in 1998 and made Pun the first solo Latino rapper to go platinum. How could the wife of one of the most celebrated rappers of all time become homeless?

We caught up with Liza to find out and to get her side of the story. Check out the video below:

@Mongo76 The only thing I questioned is why him smacking her in the face didn't motivate her to leave, if not for her own safety but for her kids. Why not put this out when he was alive? Yes that particular situation is terrible but I don't respect someone who has to wait til their problem dies then begs for money. Why do you even care about something I said so long ago anyways, were you going back through comments just to argue with someone with a different opinion? That makes you very cool.
