Some companies are requiring job candidates and employees to pass a social media background check. A year-old start-up, Social Intelligence, scrapes the Internet for everything prospective employees may have said or done online in the past seven years.

@thunderscratch66 My eyes are blue. I think they looked green because of the lighting and the reflection off my shirt. Also, my video program does some automatic "color correction".

I do wear contacts at times. But they are just clear. But I never wear contacts while I wear my glasses.

Facebook is the like the Wal-Mart of Social sites. Anyone notice how most companies tell you to go to Facebook to check them out instead of directly to their own page? They try to take over the entire internet like Wal Mart does retail. I don’t buy from Wal-Mart and don’t use Facebook.

@controversyking i agree but it does for some people companys get pressured from special intrest groups or one of the managers doesnt agree with your views.

It reminds me of womething i read about a female teacher she was a primary school teacher but she also made amateur porn and ofcourse someone found it complained and she got fired.

In the end it shouldn't matter but it does ppl judge you for all kinds of stuff and if they dont like it they are not afraid to fire or make your life hard.

@jackbarbara Yup, I used hyperbole to accentuate the fact that the internet has a different code of conduct than real life. This was to infer that it is wrong to take that conduct, database it, scrutinize it and then use it secretly against someone without even giving them a chance to defend themselves.
