The girl driver was in the INCORRECT gear for racing going 50mph. She wasn't even in the vtec window she was below it for a second or so. Tell her to stick to sucking dick and not trying to race, yayer.

@stand3rd She's a great driver and probably better then you. You probably can't shift as fast as her for that matter. You have no idea what you're talkin about. The TA was WAY out of it powerband. The Si being right at vtec was much closer to its powerband so it had the roll advantage. Again you know not what you talk about.

@foka57 i think its hilarious when people make a negative comment on something that makes no sense as though they have a valid point. She was speed shifting. How can you do any better? lol Do people do this cause they are biased towards the losing car or because they try to make themselves seem like professional drivers so they find something you already do great then try to correct you on it as though there's some other godly way to do it? lol foka57............you're an idiot sir :-)

@mugenteggy . thats a pretty slow si, for speed shifting.. tell you that much.. and again, i mean they took off from a roll. i could understand losing from a dead stop . and why was she in 4th gear at 51mph.

@Jp3riko Really dude? You have no idea what you're talking about. 1st of all she was in 3rd. The Si runs 9.6's on a 2.4 60ft trapping 76mph in the 1/8th. Best i've seen a intake modded Si trap is 77mph and that was in the cold ass month of november. It's more then up to par. And you actually think the Si should be faster from a roll???? HEH??? They trap 95-96 stock with a perfect driver. LT1 fbodies trapped 98-00 stock and this one had an extra 30-40hp in mods. The Si has NO chance from a roll.

this seems about right my buddies full bolt on si could hang with me in a bolt on lt1 camaro when he was in 2nd at high rpms but when he hit third i started to pull away

Today one of these new Civics SI tried to race me in my 96 Formula and he only got near to me when we got to a stop sign so I had to stop of course haha... but I gotta say that to be a 4 cilynder he kept up pretty good..

this looks about right. i own a 93 LT1 firebird formula bought it back in 2000(my midlife crisis car,i'm 54 now) it has I/E CHIP 160 STAT 3.73's its automatic and has 123,000mi

it still clicks off consistant 13.80's which is damn good for an 18 yr old car. my 30 yr old son's friend has an 06 SI and i was a bit more ahead from a roll than this LT1 did to this SI. from a dig we both spun but as soon i i hooked up i started pulling on him

pertty bad,but props to Honda on their cars.
