even if you dont believe in God, surely you can see the social benefits of church. on a consitent basis we help people pay their bills, we buy them groceries, we cloth the homeless, we aid single mothers and fathers, we provide a safe place for kids to get to know each other and make friendships, we send missionaries to other countries to work in orphanages and shelters. i dont see any atheist organizations doin any of that.

You waste your time. Devote yourself to something more useful in your life. If any prophecy comes true, it is b/c some crazy relgious person wants it to and does their best to make something similar happen. Religion is a poison to our society.
