The Handel House Museum is located on 23 and 25 Brook Street in London. 25 Brook Street was the residence of George Frideric Handel between 1723 and 1759 and 23 Brook Street was home to Jimi Hendrix 1968--1969.

On November 11, 2010, squib-box presented Too Hot To Handel Too at the Handel House Museum to celebrate the genius of these two musical leg ends simultaneously. In this performance, we imagined what would have happened if Handel and Hendrix would have met as neighbours and the jam session that would have followed.

Performed by:

Loré Lixenberg — mezzo-soprano
Mark Knoop — harpsichord
Adam de la Cour — voice/guitar
Federico Reuben — live electronics
Dominic Lash — double bass
Steve Noble — drums
Neil Luck — miscellaneous
