I sat down with a cassette player back in 1980 and learnt this piece note by painful note...:-0
I play it regularly, partly because I love it and partly as a test to see whether I am "on form"...
Well played. I actually prefer it slower, as per the Electric Dreams version.

Thx for offering this is a treasure of a tune one of John's finest IMO, will look for the tutorial for sure

Good job, right up to speed and precise as well

why does he make me want to stop playing guitar forever? the pain!!!

All I have to say is that whoever the one idiot who clicked dislike for this video is, is a total effing loser who's just jealous.

when you're heading back up - the Emb6 chord (at 0:14) you can play in open position - you don't need to do that extra fingering and it sounds better. It's the same chord as the opening chord and same picking. Try it. Otherwise sounds good...

Verrryyy nice!
If there is one thing I would like to be able to play on my guitar before I die, that is it.
Good stuff :-)

Thanks a lot dear people. I never knew I had such interest in this little vid testing. All the "bravos" go to Maestro John, of course. But now I really want to post more on technique and creative/inspiration side of guitar/music. Baci :-))
